First Separation

We survived!!! Rod and I went to Detroit yesterday afternoon - our first time leaving Victoria with anyone (other than the hospital staff, of course!). Grandma Penny came to babysit for the close to 9 hours we were gone, and we all survived just fine. I had the urge to call a few times, but refrained :-)

We had a nice time, lots of great conversation, and came home with some new body art! Well, Rod did, anyway!

That looks amazing! The guy did an incredible job. Glad that everything went well and you two had some time to yourselves. I'm sure you needed it. Love ya.

So glad you and Rod had time away and knowing you had such a good sitter made it that much easier. Love and hugs, Mom

I sure did enjoy the time with my precious little grandaughter. I was a little nervous at first I guess because she was so tiny from the beginning. But she is just like a normal newborn now. It did take me about 3 outfits to find one small enough to fit her though. We had a great time together bonding. Thanks to all for the opportunity. Love, Mom (Penny)

Alone time?!Tell me how to do it, Kristin!
I go back to work on Friday. Not ready for the separation anxiety to start. Lordy Lou, I cried with Easton for a year and a half! Can't imagine with two. Definately a no mascara day!
