If it's not one critter, it's another

Victoria has a love for pretty much anything crawling, hopping, or slithering - inside or out. She adores daddy-long-leg spiders (which comes in handy when I find one in the house!), but is still learning that their legs are very delicate. The other day she found this garter snake, and it kept her occupied for upwards of 2 hours, then it took 10 minutes of convincing her that it was time to let it go. Today after the rain cleared out, she found a tree frog that she kept company for quite a while.

O.K., I am totally afraid of SPIDERS-small, big--whatever! Snakes, I can't even believe that she picked the thing up! I would need a "depends" on to do the things that she is doing--ewwww! Colleen

What a great tribute to the parents. Children, spontaneously will do these things until the parents react. Your calm and objective approach to all things alive is truly a credit to both Mom and Dad.
