I've gotten a few recommendations from Victoria's teacher for books I can read that may help me with the mood swings... One I think was called Handling a Strong-Willed Child... Not that they see any of that in school, as she's the epitome of a good student (or so I'm told). It's other times that seem to come and go that she and I struggle with.
With the good...
Comes the very, very frustrating. This was over chapstick.

I do have to voice criticism here. V would pick up the "Rubber Baby ---" thing, although with less fun, if you gave the mental picture of a baby buggy with rubber bumpers. Er, is it a rubber baby in a buggy or a rubber buggy---OK you win!! :-)
On part II. I am thoroughly impressed with how well you know your daughter. To let her get it out of her system, excruciating as it is to hear, was virtually perfect!! To have yielded earlier would have been to abrogate your authority as parent. Good job!!
You do such great job! And I have heard from my friends that have kids that that book is really good. Hang in there, you are doing an awesome job!
Just wanted to let you know you aren't alone. I know how maddening it can be.
Oh. Wow. Good to know that we (and you) are not alone in going through this.
